Great news from Howard Bashman
He says: “Last week was the first instance in this blog’s more than five-year existence that the Chief Clerk of Court (or anyone affiliated with any appellate court, federal or state) ever called on this blog to take down from the internet a decision that the court itself had posted to the internet at an earlier time”
Howard Bashman (The guy behind How Appealing, a must read for all law librarians, IMO), grabbed a decision before the court took it offline. He then uploaded it to his own blogs server. The court called him, asking him to take it down. Howard apparently said no as the link is still up.
Fight the power Howard.
