LII linked to Kee Malesky this morning. Kee is a reference librarian at NPR, a job that I've pined after for years. Last year in December I linked to her colleague's column that I have been reading every month.
Another job that I would die for? Reference librarian at the Baseball Hall of Fame.

When I heard our collective response come up in a Morning Edition piece the next day, I was practically screaming! Nobody who heard that story could possibly connect it with me, but as far as I was concerned, this was as big a brush with fame as I'd ever had.
Posted by: Karl Siewert on December 18, 2003 12:02 PMHoo boy, I would literally drop everything to work for the Baseball Hall of Fame! In fact, there was a job opening there for a librarian about a year ago, but I was still in school. I did nearly every library school project on baseball so I have a portfolio to show them next time a job opens up.
