Scopeware Vision is a desktop tool that seems to incorporate, stream, and organize content for everything (including e-mail, contacts, Word docs, bookmarks, etc) that you normally use throughout the day. Well, the new version includes RSS Feeds.
"Scopeware Vision differs from other RSS readers because it allows you to easily manage your RSS content: quickly browse the RSS stream by viewing thumbnails and reading headlines. If you typically go to a dozen websites every morning to catch up on what is happening, you can now browse hundreds using Scopeware Visions RSS capabilities. Scopeware Vision allows you to keep up with more of the information you care about."
"The most important feature that differentiates Scopeware Vision from other RSS readers: Vision places RSS content in the stream right along with your documents and email. So if you want to search using a term such as Rolling Stones or Microsoft you can retrieve all the RSS news content on these topics, along with the stuff on your PC or shared network drive. You can see a review of the Rolling Stones CD, along with your Rolling Stones MP3 files, and photos of you at a Rolling Stones concert. You can see current news related to Microsoft, along with an email from your investment analyst with a new Microsoft stock tip, along with a Word document containing valuable information on the company. No other RSS reader combines web-based content with your stuff, providing you with a complete view of everything you need to know about the topics that interest you."
The price is not that bad ($29.95 - 14 day trial), and I love that fact that it is searchable (a feature many aggregators lack) not only within the feeds themselves, but throughout all of my applications. When I get a chance, I'll have to download it an give it a whirl.

The deciding point for me was when a client called about his invoice. I quietly typed his name and the word invoice and within a few seconds had every email and invoice document at hand.
The RSS feed feature is another slam-dunk for me. I've been trying to find a way to pull in any RSS item that has keywords in common with emails in my inbox, and no combination of products has pulled it off until Vision.
