Making Blogs More Than Just What's for Dinner

An article from the Washington Post discusses what makes for a good business weblog. Gary and Bill Kearney get a mention. An interesting quote from Debbie Weil:

"Good blogs are authentic, credible, very human, candid and personal in the sense that it's usually one voice...A blog doesn't have to be clever, but it does have to be useful."

Sure, but I think "useful" is relative, right? What could be useful to one might not be useful to another. Weblog readers have the golden opportunity to find the weblogs they like and only read those. Its all about choice.
