My Wire Service

For those that have been reading LS for at least the past year, I have always advocated for aggregators that can be accessed via the web (ie no software to download...just log in and read). There have been a bunch of these "web-gregators" that have sprouted up on the market recently and My Wire Service is another one. Its in beta now, and looks great. I had a chance to play with it this evening and was faily impressed with the quickness of the load time (an issue when it comes to these tools due to heavy traffic).

Some neat feature include the ability to add feeds to the existing database of over 500 feeds (even though 500 is not that impressive), the opportunity to save a post to read later on, and the neat trick that I can importmy opml feed (which is important). I'm going to try and play with it abit more later on, but why not try it out. (via Yahoo Groups - Aggregators)

Cool link, cheers. I think web aggregator people often forget that one of the most useful places to have an aggregator is at work, and just about no-one can install software in those environments. Working in the media, aggregators could be incredibly useful to provide alternative news sources to the wires.
