Maybe the searcher was drinking the same stuff that Dirk and Steve were drinking when he/she performed the search.
Posted by Steven at July 20, 2003 12:05 AM | TrackBackI can relate! And I'm not even a librarian. There's the additional frustration that referrer logs don't include an e-mail address where I can send the answers.
I've got a section in my sidebar called "Frequently Googled Questions" where I send people whose searches do actually relate to things I can offer them; I've had to resist salting it with pointers to stuff they'd be better off looking for elsewhere.
