To monitor those sites that don't have RSS Feeds, you may want to utilize the speed browsing tool that Michael Fagan created. It is so easy. Put in as many URLs as needed, hit save, and away you go, browsing each site in succession.
I have made a note to mention this at upcoming presentations.

It is one of the first things I put up on Fagan Finder, and as you can see, the last update to it was December 24, 2001. Unfortunately, I think it only works in IE, but I'm not sure.
My dad still considers it to be the most innovative tool I've made :-). While you read one page, it is already loading the next!
