RSS in yer OPAC

David Bigwood links to Kohalabs which is experimenting will placing RSS feeds of the most popular checked out books (and others) in their library catalog (I think - I couldn't tell).

I think that feeds like these are best served up on library web pages, bringing content from the library catalog directly to the patrons.

Wilton Library used to do this (their blog hasn't been update din a while), but it wasn't via RSS. It should be an automatic thing, updating every day or so.

Here is another idea: The top ten patrons who owe overdue fines, directly to the library web site....just kidding.
