Many writers are touting Feedster as a weblog search engine. In my opinion, and possibly the creators, this is erroneous.
Feedster is an RSS engine. It grabs the RSS feeds of many sites and indexes them on on the fly. (I just did a search and came up with content that was parsed 2 hours ago!!)
To say that Feedster only searches weblogs is also erroneous. It searches Cnet, The New York Times, and much more. To limit it only to weblogs would be a shame. To limit RSS itself to weblogs minimizes its grand impact.
