In the meantime, Searchalert, a site that e-mails news results (from Google News, I think) for your customized keywords, now provides the title of the articles that are sent (besides the URL). This is great news. Now, I can quicky ascertain whether or not an article is worth reading quicker.

It the BloggerAPI, the MetaWeblogAPI as well as sending RSS 0.91 and plain text files.
