St. Louis Public Library completes $20 million capital campaign

“The $70 million used to renovate Central Library included $20 million to be raised from a capital campaign. That campaign has exceeded its goal, the library announced in a news release.“St. Louis has a world-class Library today because of the vision and generosity of Andrew Carnegie in the late 19th and early 20th centuries,”  Tom Schlafly, co-chairman of the campaign, said in the release.” (via STLToday)
