Carl Levin donates archive to UM library

“Retired U.S. Sen. Carl Levin is donating the papers from his more than 36 years in public office to the University of Michigan Bentley Historical Library. They fill roughly 1,500 bankers boxes and four hard drives and arrived in Ann Arbor on a semitrailer, the Detroit Democrat said Wednesday. Library staff will spend more than a year processing the records, which cover more than 1,450 linear feet, before the collection opens to the public.” (via Detroit News)
