Tech-oriented college libraries offer greater resources

“Your father may not recognize the place with fewer books on the shelves and the demise of card catalogs, but experts say that college libraries today are just as vital to students’ success as they have ever been. Advances in technology are putting a wealth of online books and research out there for students, making paper books almost obsolete. Yet college libraries have not followed the dinosaur off to extinction, instead evolving and staying relevant as exemplified by two highly regarded university libraries: William Paterson University in Wayne and State University of New York, New Paltz campus.” (via North Jersey)
