Library lovers make plea to save two St. Louis County branches

“The fates of two libraries are all but sealed, but those who love their branches pleaded Monday for officials to reconsider plans to knock them down. More than 100 people attended the St. Louis County library’s Board of Trustees meeting. Speakers urged the board to re-consider plans to demolish the Lewis and Clark branch in Moline Acres and the Tesson Ferry library in Green Park. “I know you didn’t mean to make a bad decision, but you did,” Carol Hamilton, a Green Park alderwoman, told the trustees.” (via stltoday.com)
