City of Winnipeg to beef up libraries in 2014 budget

“Winnipeggers want access to more e-books and magazines, more materials reflecting First Nations and they want their reading material in their own languages. The City of Winnipeg says it’s listening. In a news release Monday, the city said the 2014 budget calls for an 11 per cent increase in spending on six key areas identified through public surveys, statistics and trends.” (via MSN CA)
