Lynn Silipigni Connaway named Vice Chair of ACRL Value of Academic Libraries Initiative

“OCLC Senior Research Scientist Lynn Silipigni Connaway, Ph.D., has been named vice chair of the ACRL Value of Academic Libraries Initiative, an initiative from the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL), a division of the American Library Association (ALA). This initiative is charged with helping academic libraries demonstrate their alignment with and impact on institutional outcomes. As vice chair of the Value of Academic Libraries Initiative, Lynn will serve as one of the leaders of the initiative. In addition, Lynn has been appointed a committee member. Her role on the committee includes identifying opportunities for the promotion and advancement of academic libraries. Her term on the committee is for two years and her term as vice chair is 1 July 2013 – 30 June 2014.” (via OCLC)
