Queens Libraries to Offer Free Digital Copies of Magazines

“The Queens Library is the first public library system in New York to offer free digital copies of popular magazines for download, part of a broader push to provide library patrons with better access to digital reading materials. Last year, the Queens Library system became the first New York library system to lend e-readers, and this fall the library hopes to begin lending tablets, said Thomas Galante, the library’s president and CEO.” (via WSJ)
