Cutbacks lead to reduced hours at Sacramento Public Libraries

Sacramento Bee – “Sacramento Public Libraries are reducing hours because of funding cutbacks that have affected staffing levels. Many positions have been held vacant at libraries and the loss of substitutes, who traditionally provided coverage for vacations and illnesses, has caused library officials to determine the new number of hours each branch can be open.”
