Checking Out Library Gala

WSJ – “The usually quiet New York Public Library welcomed a bit of noise Monday, thanks to its annual Library Lions Gala. The evening honored entertainers Steve Martin and Ethan Hawke, writers Malcolm Gladwell and Zadie Smith and outgoing NYPL President Paul LeClerc. More than 600 guests raised $2.8 million dollars for the 99-year-old institution.”
