Winston Churchill Goes Digital

NYT – “Under the deal, the entire Churchill archive, currently stored in 2,500 boxes at the center’s home in the quiet, grassy precincts of Cambridge university’s Churchill College, is to be digitized and made available on a pay-as-you-go basis to those with an Internet connection.”

am most impressed with the Churchill Archives Cenrtre, this decision can only continue to enhance Churchill’s reputation.

I recently published a book called Winston Churchill – An American Idol. It took many years of research.

It would have been quite a bit quicker if I had been able to access and cross check the documents in the archive.

I look forward to using it for my next Churchill book.
