After researching and waiting for the prices to fall some, I purchased a Nook in June 2010. And I absolutely love it. I expected it to be a practical thing, for carrying around a bunch of books and documents. But I didn’t expect it to be pleasurable, and it is. Very nice to hold (I have a hard cover case that looks like a book, the Nook tucks into one side). A flick of my finger or thumb on the menu bar and the page turns. Great on the eyes, no strain. And the books are WAY cheaper. I’m a librarian, and I’m a convert. I will still have a huge paper library, but this is a nice addition.
