N.Y. Librarians Fight Budget Cuts, Pledge ‘We Will Not Be Shushed’

WSJ – “To protest the mayor’s budget cuts to New York City libraries, city librarians have circulated petitions, testified before city committees and helped stage a Ghost Busters re-enactment. And on Sunday morning, librarian Ingrid Abrams stood at a podium near the steps of Central Library in Brooklyn, opened “Go Away the Green Monster” by Ed Emberley and read.”
