The New York Public Library gets kids thinking that summer reading is hot

NY Daily News – “The New York Public Library kicked off its annual Summer Reading 2010 program yesterday at the Bronx Library Center in Fordham. “This summer program is going to be as exciting as ever,” said Julia Chang of the Children’s Program. Helping to make it exciting will be a new interactive Web site where young readers can create an avatar in their own image, and keep track of all the books they’ve read.”
