    There are lots of good arguments for librarians, it’s too bad he doesn’t use any of them.

    Librarians don’t provide internet access, libraries do.

    Librarians shouldn’t be bringing back the right piece of information they should be teaching people how to find that information on their own. Why encourage and facilitate dependence?

    Besides, putting librarians against Google is a losing proposition. It shouldn’t be a competition. Librarians aren’t human search engines. The comparison doesn’t make sense.
