Barnes & Noble Names Head to Add Content for E-Reader

Bloomberg – “Barnes & Noble Inc., the largest U.S. bookstore chain, created a position to oversee the development of paid digital content from newspapers, magazines and other publishers for hand-held reading devices. The company named Jonathan Shar, 41, general manager of digital newsstand and emerging content to add material for its Nook, the e-reader it launched in November, and other electronic reading devices. Previously, Shar was senior vice president and general manager for Time Warner Inc.’s CNN Money Web site.”
