60 bucks a month for 12 months = 720 dollars a year! And the single rate, 14 bucks a book, is hardly a bargain, when at both of the large library systems where I live, patrons can have up to fifty items checked out on each card. For free.
I tried Bookswim for about 3 months (the 3 at a time plan) but when I saw the replacement costs for the books I cancelled. Some books that I could have bought from Amazon or B&N for 20-30 bucks had a listed replacement costs of $75 – $100.
I take care of books but I didn’t want to risk a lost bag on vacation costing me an extra couple hundred dollars.
