Lead Testing Closes Main Library’s Stacks

NYTimes – “Sometimes scholars find fate — or at least a library — stacked against them. Specifically, the renowned central stacks of the New York Public Library at 42nd Street and Fifth Avenue, which have been closed to the staff — and therefore unavailable to patrons — since Dec. 20, because of testing for lead contamination.”
