Talking or Listening

December 28th, 2008

Collections 2.0 – “I’ve been Twittering a lot lately; it has kind of taken the wind out of my sails for blogging more in-depth here.”

Interesting.  I deleted my Twitter and FriendFeed account and now I’m blogging more.  And, of course, more time with the family.  ;-)

I agree. I don’t use twitter and while I have a FF account I don’t do much with it – just check in about two times a week. I just manage to update my status in FB a few times a week and catch up with other folks’ status. I could spend more time on that stuff, but I’m usually working on a combination of articles, presentations, my LIS course – not to mention reading new stuff (where else do you get good ideas – not usually from tweets) – so it’s a question of do you participate there – a timesink – or actually grind out new and more in depth content of your own.I’ve made my choice.
