Our Virtual Library for my college [15 campuses in several states] recently canceled our NetLibrary account. It was hacked and DNS'd. When not, it was unavailable. They couldn't handle us logging from several states through a shared ISP. The books would not load. Sometimes only one user was allowed on for the 15 campuses combined. And/or logged off after 15 minutes. Sometimes the book file only partially loaded, or the graphics only partially loaded.

We hated it. Customer service took months figuring out what was wrong. Actually only weeks. It took the other, matching weeks to receive to our requests for help.

We campus librarians are glad it's gone. We're certainly not going to invest in any e-reader.
