October 12th, 2008Guitar Hero Contest in Library – “Children enjoy video games right now,” says Children Services Director Sandra Pierce. “We’re trying to use that as a vehicle to get them into the library, get them interested in what we’re doing. We also carry gaming magazines and that’s a form of reading. We just want to do things that children in this town really enjoy and that’s one of them.”
Wow. There are alot of kids in that picture. And the one looks bored. Heh.

Bored? Maybe they weren’t playing GH 1 – that has Blue Oyster Cult’s Godzilla on it!

Gah! I would be embarrassed if the press showed up for two people. I would at least throw some staff and volunteers in there.
Coincidentally, we are having our first gaming program at our library tomorrow. I pray to have a better picture
