Hm. So, what matters is not how many people checked out a book or got a question answered, but what the value/impact of that book/answer was. I couldn’t agree more and I think libraries need to find these stories and make a big deal.
We ask value/impact questions with our surveys and I’d be glad to share if anyone would like them. I think it’s a more telling, mature metric than simple usage.
