The Google one. Phil Bradley takes a look.
October 7th, 2007 at 1:22 am
Reading Phil Bradley’s tabloid-style review of Google MyLibrary makes me ashamed to be a part of the same profession. I’m no apologist for Google but honestly, is it professional to call their engineers morons and claim that all of their products are ‘crap’?
Promoting Phil Bradley does you, and your blog’s reputation, no favours.

Hi Steve:
I didn’t promote Phil’s post. I just linked to it. A link doesn’t mean I promote something. Phil has done wonders for our profession and I’m sorry you feel the way you do about my blog. Since you read Library Stuff, that the one of the last things I care about my place in this sphere is my reputation. I’m over that.
Thanks for commenting.

Thanks for the comment Steve - I’m sorry that my ‘tabloid style’ doesn’t appeal to you, but different styles appeal to different people, and of course you’re more than welcome to review the Google offering yourself. I won’t impose on our hosts space further, other than to say that I think it’s a shame that you didn’t feel able to actually come to my blog and comment; criticising someone behind their back is now acceptable behaviour - or is that just your particular ’style’?
Phil.
