Not a Librarian?

August 27th, 2007

Palm Beach Post - “The American Library Association went in search of a 100-year-old librarian this year to help celebrate the centenary of American Libraries, its professional magazine. Instead, it found Frieda Greene, part-time staffer at the Boynton Beach City Library. “I’m not a librarian!” she tells you straight off. You have to have a master’s degree to be an official librarian.”

In my book, she’s a librarian. Period. Congrats on the award Frieda.
