Thanks a Million

June 1st, 2007

Taking a look at May’s stats (I check them once or twice a month), I was thrilled to see that, for the first time ever, Library Stuff had over 1 Million page views. I know, not an exact science, (and I would have to account for spammers), but I’m going to be happy anyway despite the statistical naysayers.

In two months, Library Stuff turns 7 and, despite a few setbacks over the past few years, it’s back to being fun and exciting. And that’s the way it should be.

Thanks a million!!

    Hi,

Love your blog, and as someone who reads it through google reader, wanted you to know that I often don’t click through to your actual post – so wouldn’t be included in your hit stats. I’m sure there are others like me so the good news is you’re getting even more hits!

  2. Steven Says:

Thanks Kelly. I do see hits to my RSS feed, but GR may just hit it once an hour and send it off to everyone that subscribes to my blog (like Bloglines does). I know that the numbers are so hard to gauge, but I was happy nonetheless. Thanks again.

    Steven,

Congratulations. It is something to brag about. My stats have been going down lately. RSS feeds and planets. I don’t think my readership has declined, just page views. So to see yours climbing in the face of these trends is very impressive. Congratulations again.
