I remember doing this when I worked at a small public library in the early 1990’s. All library staff were encouraged to record themselves reading their favorite children’s story. Mine was, Why Mosquitos Buzz in People’s Ears, a sort of Just-So story. My only complaint was that the system cut out all pauses, so the story kinda ran together. Pauses are a key tool in the storyteller’s bag.
