Update

April 21st, 2007

I’ve been trying to not be sleepy these days. I’m not sure if I’ve caught up from not sleeping much at CIL this year (what a great time I had, hanging out with friends, old and new).

Anyway, I’ve been crazily reading feeds and sharing them on my linkblog. Also, I’ve been Twittering like crazy. What a great group of friends I have over there (come say hello and add me as a friend). Lately, I’ve felt that everything I do is in 140 characters or less. Heh.

Also, the more I think about it, the more I believe that Twitter has a big future in distribution and aggregation of content. Either that or it’s just really fun and addicting. Or both.

A few people that I would love to see on Twitter:

Gary Price
Walt Crawford
Ray Jassin (my boss)
Jessa Crispin (Bookslut)
Blake Carver
Tim Spalding

Where are you guys? ;-)

Actually, I’d like to second the request to see some tweets from Tim Spalding. I would probably “befriend” most of the others on your list, but I would LOVE to hear what is going on in LibaryThingWorld via twitter updates!

Hmm. I don’t carry a PDA or smartphone or notebook computer… I’m only “connected” for an hour or so outside work on a typical day, and like it that way. And I’m not exactly a 140-character guy.

I’ve learned never to say never, but this one doesn’t seem real likely any time soon. “Walt Crawford on Twitter” sounds like a classic technology/person mismatch.
