I was surprised to find that my public library, in the Appalachian foothills of southeast Ohio, has a copy on the new book shelf. You certainly wouldn't expect a lot of sex in the book based on the subject headings: Translators -- Fiction.; Triangles (Interpersonal relations) -- Fiction.; Murder -- Fiction.; and New York (N.Y.) -- Fiction.
