All too often teens lack space where they can be themselves. It’s so easy to stereotype them by how they look and how they act. When we see the teens at my library acting up, we consistently reprimand them. However, we also recognize that they are an important part of our clientÃ¨le, so we also talk to them and get to know them.

If these were the same kids that were caught urinating in the stairwell (twice) up the road at Florida State University, I may understand. There’s a line that has to be drawn somewhere.
