American Libraries on “Mattering in the Blogosphere”
I recieved a request a few months ago from ALA asking for answers to a few questions about librarians and blogging. Some of the answers would appear in a futrure article of American Libraries. I mostly ignored it (after an interesting e-mail exchange with a colleague) as I thought it was ALA repeating itself and trying too hard to look cool.
After having this e-mail exchange with my colleague, I was convinced otherwise. Then, I forgot to fill out the Q&A. Oh well. Others can have their time to shine.
I’ll check out the article when it gets on EBSCO (The March issue TOC isn’t on the ALA site yet and I doubt that the article will be online anywhere [Irony noted]). Should be a fun read.
(via Kathleen who has more on the article)

It is online, available to ALA members using a horrible ebrary interface that requires downloading a separate ActiveX ebrary reader. Feh! So, I bet I got in that article only because you forgot to fill yours out. Thanks for the boost, ‘Reno!
I read the whole thing online at the ALA website only after I ignored the message that said I was not logged in and clicked on the arrow to turn the page and there is was.
ebrary interface isn’t THAT bad, but kind of unfriendly.
