La La La La, La La La La, Librarian’s World
February 23rd, 200710 points for first to guess the reference above,
Librariansworld.com was sent to me by Amol, who tells me that it is a popular site in India, Pakistan, and the Far East. It’s the only site that I know of (please let me know if I’m wrong) that offers a social networking tool for librarians. It’s not a pure SN site, but it’s not that bad either. A good start.
Is anyone working on something like this in the states? One would think with all of the discussion about social software in our profession, it would be in the works.

Oh, you are *so* the parent of a small person… And now, I will have that song in my head for the rest of the day, won’t I?
(To give credit where credit is due, Elmo saved our dinner last night - at 5:30 the teething-2-year-old was falling apart, and Elmo came to the rescue so I could finish up cooking. At 6:00, when we all sat down to a healthy family dinner, I was VERY thankful for Sesame Street!)

I love Elmo’s World.
My sister-in-law says that “Sanity Street” (as she calls it) has often saved the day in a manner similar to that which Carrie describes.

I guess I’m being outvoted…
My guess was the “La La La La Lemon” song by Barenaked Ladies of the For The Kids CD.
Even if I guessed wrong I highly reccomend “For the Kids” And you don’t have to have little kids to be a children’s music addict.

Although it’s a totally different form of social networking tool, I find the wiki at http://www.libsuccess.org is a good resource.

My little person needs the sheet music to la la la la lemon for a talent show. (she’s too cute singing it) I’ve been online for hours…HELP! does anyone anywhere know anything I don’t? I have even called the record label and they didn’t do any sheet music to those songs.
