Westlaw on Google Blog Search

I’ve never noticed this before. Apparently, Google Blog search is indexing articles from Westlaw which clearly are not blogs. Most of this stuff comes from the NYT.

How odd and not very useful. They also seem to be indexing alerts set up on Westclips. Even more useless.

    Thanks for the comment Brad. I don’t think that most would find this useful. Also, the content from Westlaw isn’t from blogs. :-(

    I’m guessing someone has the RSS for one of their Westlaw Watches on a public web site, and the abstract being picked up from there. Perhaps Google Blog Search is grabbing RSS instead of just blogs.
