Cooliris

November 24th, 2006

I talk about Browster alot during presentations because it has truly been a great time saver. It especially comes in handy when I have a list of cases or articles in Lexis and need to look through them quickly. I also use it for aggregator reading.

Today, I happened upon Cooliris, which basically does the same thing (opens up a pop-up browser).

Cool Iris

It’s not as cool as Browster, but does allow me to e-mail a page right from the pop-up, which is kinda useful. Well worth the download. Right now, I have both Browster and Cooliris running on Firefox, and I’ll probably take off the latter because I’m still gaga over the former.

Note: Neither one of these tools works for framed sites. So, Bloglines users are SOL. :-(
