Librarians for Fairness

November 20th, 2006

I once read that in order to understand your own views completely, you should read about and comprehend opposing views as well (sometimes more). This is why I watch FOX news.

I had already seen Librarians for Fairness as it was anonymously pushed to me during the Israel/Hesbolah fighting this summer. Today, LISNews reminded me of it’s existence.

“Librarians for Fairness is an organization dedicated to bringing positive programs about Israel to libraries across the nation and to promoting democratic values. We work to ensure that Israel’s viewpoint is represented fairly in our libraries through books, periodicals, audiovisuals, online resources, and scheduled events.”

They have 2 RSS feeds, which I’ve since subscribed to.
