YouTube course is a class act

“So does exposing a bunch of 14-year-olds to the sometimes rough and raucous world of internet videos count as education?

Absolutely, says Stuart King, the Year 8 coordinator at the Melbourne private school, who is conducting the elective course. He sees it as a great example the so-called knowledge era learning that Eltham College promotes.

‘After all, one of the jobs of a teacher is to help kids make sense of the world they live in,’ he says.” (via)
