Blogalogue
August 23rd, 2006Glenn Harper, who is the Information Resources Librarian and Ringleader of the Blograrians at Frankston Library Service sent me a note about their new blog called Blogalogue. This quote comes directly from his e-mail:
“The concept for Blogalogue is perhaps a little different from most other public library blogs in Australia in that from the outset it is designed to be interactive. It’s also intended to be a little off topic, with both libraryland and other otherwise unrelated subjects being addressed. We are inviting customers to use the comments facility and we will always have Bravenet mini polls active. Yesterday we established a flickr (sic) where people can share their photos of I Love Frankston stickers.”
“We now have to find ways of more actively encouraging people to use these community engagement options.”
I love the Flickr sticker idea. Thanks Glenn!
