Forbes on PubSub

August 19th, 2006

There’s a piece in Forbes about PubSub:

“Don’t wait for the happy ending. That $4 million is down the drain, and PubSub can’t even afford to file for bankruptcy. No one has filed suit–yet.”

How very sad. I miss my days at PubSub. Most of the guys around the office were a fun bunch (a few had their panties on a bit tight, but you get that everywhere) and I enjoyed working with them. Both Bob and Salim are very smart people, but both of them couldn’t figure out what to do with the amazing idea of prospective search.

The guys at KnowNow are saints to have had to deal with something like this.

I wonder if this article is an attempt to revive the company somewhat. In a way, I hope it is. I miss my PubSub subscriptions in my aggregator (even though the site is still up, it doesn’t seem as if the data is updated) (link via)
