Blog Tipping Day

Well, throw a towel over my head and call me Casper, Library Stuff was featured on Happy Blog Tipping Day.

I like the three compliments and one suggestion idea. Their one suggestion?

““Suggestion: How about using categories so we can easily find information on, say, cataloguing or social networking?”

First of all, if I had a category for cataloguing, there would be nothing in there. I never blog about cataloguing. Second, I’m not a big believer in categories for blogs, nor do I do the whole post tagging thing. I never got into it and probably won’t.

I want people to create their own categories for my content. Plus, I’m probably the only librarian that is terrible at categorizing. I mean, check out my del.icio.us account. What a mess! Trust me, you don’t want categories on here.
