Yet More on SCSL
July 5th, 2006Two comments from my posts on the new and improved South Carolina State Library site, gets me continuously giddy:
One from Tao, the Web Administrator - “We didn’t expect such overwhelming responses from our launch. It is definitely exciting to have the new site. All the sudden, my job as the web administrator became so much more fun. Two days after we launched the new site, almost half of library directors in our state has signed up to our online community - a moderated MySpace for Librarians. We are currently working on refining our content, as well as, adding more features to our site. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments. Thanks!”
And one from Amanda (who friended me today) - “Our new website is still a work-in-progress, but still very exciting. Be sure to check back soon once all the bells and whistles start really being used.”
I can’t wait to see the new enhancements. We need to get these guys and gals to come out to Computers in Libraries next year and tell us all about the planning and implementation of this huge undertaking.
