Criminal?

Have you seen this? A library patron was arrested in Texas for having overdue books. It was even listed on the Police Department Press Briefing. Since the content on the URL will change on Sunday (I think), I’ve taken a screenshot (Crossed out the name and DOB).

Yeah, let’s treat ctizens like this as hardened criminals who have offenses like homicide, burglary, and sexual assault. Absolutely ridiculous! This Texas town and library and any other towns across the U.S. that put out warrants for overdue materials should be ashamed of themselves. My goodness! Very 1.0, right?
