The library weblog dedicated to resources for keeping current and professional development

Some RSS Goodies

June 12th, 2006

There have been some interesting RSS resources that Aggie has delivered lately. Here’s a bit of a rundown:

+ Michael Sauers lectured about RSS and one of the attendees, who works at the Colorado Talking Book Library, was inspired. He created a text and podcast feed for their quarterly newsletters. Behold, the power of “presentation”. ;-)
+ Peter Scott mentions that the ACLU has a bunch of feeds. New to me.

+ The New York State Education Department has two feeds, one for news and the other from the Office of the Professions.

+ Check out what the library at the University of Alabama has done. They have feeds sorted by LOC, NLM, and SOD. Everybody now. Suweeeeet! Oh, and a tutorial on how to add the feeds to their campus personalization start pages. Bonus! 100 points for UAL.
